Define what each milestone establishes
A collection record shows the stated material was taken from a location under recorded circumstances. A receipt records what a receiving party says arrived. A treatment confirmation describes the reported process or outcome within its own scope. Keep these milestones separate, with the parties, dates and batch reference identified. Evidence of one step should not automatically populate the status of a later step.
Reconcile quantities and exceptions
Record the units used at each stage, such as counted items, measured area or mass. Preserve whether a value was measured or estimated and avoid converting without a documented basis. Ask about damaged packaging, rejected components, partial loads and material held awaiting assessment. A quantity difference needs explanation; using the original collection quantity as the treated amount can conceal unresolved parts of the batch.
Read the outcome document for its scope
Identify which material, treatment location and period the confirmation covers, and whether it describes recycling, another recovery operation or disposal. Keep the original source and any stated limitation beside the summary. A carrier's invoice or an image of a vehicle is not evidence of treatment. Official waste records serve particular responsibilities and should not be replaced by an attractive platform status indicator.
Produce a stage-specific summary
Use the Return-chain quantity reconciler to compare recorded stage quantities, then request missing outcome evidence using the Recovery confirmation request. State what is confirmed, what is declared and what remains unknown at the reporting cut-off. Download the record for your responsible team. Leaf Accord does not observe the load, verify a facility or contact the receiver; a saved reconciliation remains a local planning assessment.
