Describe the site service

Record where the graphic will sit, expected audience, duration, substrate, care conditions and relevant site constraints. Ask the responsible site team which performance and installation evidence is required. A floor application is a consequential service decision; artwork appearance or a general material-family description is not enough to approve it.

Request finished-assembly evidence

Identify exact face, print, surface finish, adhesive and substrate interface. Request documents covering the proposed construction and applicable conditions, with issuer, method, date and limitations. Do not attach a rating from another finish or substrate as if it automatically applies. Clarify what competent site review remains necessary.

Plan placement and changeover

Keep message visibility, accessible circulation, installation permission, application instructions, maintenance and removal responsibilities together. Record any authorised representative trial and its limits. A product document is one input to the site decision, not a complete assessment of every condition where the graphic will be used.

Fictional finish substitution

A leisure venue accepts a proposed floor-graphic construction, but production suggests another laminate. The coordinator creates a changed assembly version and checks the affected evidence before release. The original approval remains historical; the new finish does not inherit it merely because the artwork and nominal dimensions are unchanged.

Record actual installation and review

Keep approved versions and responsible decisions with what was fitted. Record care issues, observed changes and removal condition without inventing performance conclusions. This brief worksheet does not provide a safety rating or approve a public site. Environmental comparisons and receiving routes require their own service-aligned evidence and complete removed-material descriptions.

  • Use actual site requirements.
  • Check the exact finished surface.
  • Review changes before release.
