A worked project scenario
The checked Re-board registry labels its PCR edition1.3.4 while the downloaded declaration identifies1.2.5. Treating these as interchangeable would conceal which calculation rules actually produced the table.
Method to use
Record registry version date, PDF issue date, declared PCR and registration number independently. Ask the programme operator or owner to confirm the governing revision. Keep the downloaded table as a source observation while blocking unattended comparison.
Limits of the conclusion
A discrepancy does not by itself invalidate a declaration; Leaf cannot decide which entry needs correction. The dataset records the unresolved question rather than silently selecting one edition.
