Work through the decision
Identify the membership, object grant or invitation being removed and its continuing record obligations. Record the actual engine action and audit evidence. Check private search, downloads, sessions, approval links and queued jobs under the changed permission. Retain lawful accepted history and avoid deleting another owner’s data as a shortcut to revocation.
A fictional worked example
In a fictional project, a supplier exits after responding to one RFQ. Future routing stops and its old grant no longer opens private artwork. The buyer’s accepted quote and live delivery obligations remain intact under their correct record permissions.
Evidence and authority limit
Changing a local checkbox or writing a revocation plan does not execute or verify server access removal.
Put it into practice
Write a revocation checklist covering file access, pending reminders and accepted-record continuity.
Keep this record: Actual removal request, verification evidence and retained-obligation scope.
- Revocation applies to current server authority.
- Cached and queued access is checked.
- Accepted history and ownership are preserved.
